How to Install Custom ROMs for TMV (ZTE Crescent) 3

This post has updated file information to install custom ROM for T-Mobile Vivacity ( similar to OSFII ).  All the below steps are not tested by myself, However this step should work as both the model OSFII & TMV are from same hardware (ZTE Crescent).  Refer the Original release thread here for your reference.  As per source thread, this ROM had been installed many people without any issue.

IMPORTANT Notes Before you perform Upgrade :

1. Before you begin, make sure you have backed up all files and contacts you need, as they will be lost during this process. Your SD card will not be touched, so any files (photos, music etc) will NOT be lost. Read How to perform a Backup for OSF II Phone.

2. Make sure your battery is fully charged throughout the guide.

3. If you follow this guide carefully, you should not run into any problems. However, there is always a very small chance that you may brick / destroy your phone. We are not responsible for any damage that may be caused throughout this guide.

Below are the steps to Install Custom ROM

Step 1. Backup the phone data and contacts (optional, but recommended to take the backup )

Step 2Installing a required drivers to detect the Phone on your computer ( same as OSFII ).

In order to install a custom ROM, you need to install the USB drivers for your phone to communicate correctly with your TMV Phone / OSFII Phone (as both the models are build from ZTE Crescent hardware ).

Step 3. Recovery Application installation (CWM). This application will help you to put the phone in to recovery mode.

Step 4. Download the required ROM and install it on your phone.

we will continue the detailed steps in upcoming pages.
